About Us

The best part about being a husband and wife photography team is that we get each other. We've got that husband-wife telepathy thing going on. We've been married for five-years and friends for almost ten. We're big on encouragement and words of affirmation and spreading love and loving others well. We learned how to take pictures so that we could capture the Big Things happening in our lives. We traveled around the world and took pictures in Africa and Guatemala. We had a baby and took (take, as in daily) pictures of him. We want to document our life and the lives around us as they're happening and capture the good and the happy and the love and the joy and the here and now, even if the here and now isn't always full of joy. The best part of this adventure is that we get to do it together and we really, really love spending time together. We don't want to just take pictures. We want to capture your story and tell everyone about your love. We want to come along on your adventure. So, let's be adventurers!

We're big on craft beer and summer nights spent on patios. We love our home and having people in our home. We love curling up in our bed and reading for hours or binging our favorite shows. We think that our child is the cutest and funniest human to ever grace this earth and we never tire of telling all the stories about him. We're passionate about college kids and college kids who aren't in college but seek community. We're passionate about orphans and widows and HIV awareness and Africa and Guatemala. We're passionate about marriage and love and weddings. We're passionate about wheat beer and good coffee and hot tea and we're always on the hunt for the best pizza (half MacKenzie, half Madison from MRPC). Come along on this adventure! We're always seeking new friends and we're so lucky that we've been blessed with new friends in the form of our couples. We love our couples and we can't wait to do life with you!

About Evan:
Evan is an encourager and a promiser. He is the college pastor at Faith Chapel and has really long legs that are great for the shots that Larissa can't reach. Evan loves dark beer, game nights with friends and wrestling with his three-year-old son.

About Larissa:
Larissa is a dreamer. You know those ridiculous dreams and ides that pop into your head at the most random times? That is Larissa's life. Which is a good thing when you're doing something creative with your life and need an outlet. Larissa stays home with Maddox (their three-year-old son) and takes pictures of him when she's not taking pictures of other people. Larissa loves a good cup of tea, lemon-anything, her besties and binge watching good (trashy) TV. And of course her adorable son (and also husband).
